THESE WORDS

Hey everyone, I’m extremely sorry I’ve been MIA for far too long, back in my homeland and couldn’t lay my hands on reliable internet until now. N.B : the song below may not flow with the message in the poem, but it’s my old fav and also a classic. Have a super dupa weekend everyone.

Listen to my message
These are words for the wise
Because I know it’d happen
Right before your eyes

Walking around, shoulders high
What a proud idiot you’ve become
I know people say that’s cliché, yet
Only words separate the boys from the men

The words of a fool starts a fight
Do him a favour and give him a gag,
A fool is undone by his big mouth
His soul, crushed by his own words

Listening to gossip is like eating cheap candy,
Do you really want junk like that in your belly?
Words kill, words give life, they’re either poison or fruit
Whatever the case, you choose.
